We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days of receiving it. The acknowledgement will confirm who is handling your complaint and the expected timeline for a response.

We will investigate your complaint fairly and thoroughly. This may involve reviewing records, speaking to staff and requesting further information from you. We aim to complete investigations within 28 days. If we need more time, we will let you know and explain why.

We will provide a written response to your complaint setting out our findings and any remedy we are offering. If we find that we have made a mistake, we will apologise and take steps to put it right.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can ask for your complaint to be reviewed by a senior manager. We will review the complaint and provide a final response.
